Artist: Silvia Willkens

Silvia Willkens' finely crafted acrylic chalk drawings depict human faces or figures reminiscent of bygone eras in a contemporary interpretation. For Silvia Willkens, these are their collective faces. The color scheme is gentle, mostly in earthy tones. Her image of man appears timeless and universal. Willkens studied art history at the University of Stuttgart and art at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz with a degree in art. Her works are exhibited internationally with a focus on Asia and the USA.
